Solo exhibition in Madrid, Spain, 1st to 12th December 2018
Dolores’ luxury sculptural basins and other decorative pieces were on show in a solo-exhibition at the Club Social Sto. Domingo, Algete (Madrid, Spain) for just over 10 days in December 2018. This was the first exhibition of its kind held at the prestigious club, and was very well received by members and visitors alike.

Madrid’s high society gathered at the end of November to support the VIII Christmas Market in aid of Músicos en Acción. Dolores joined forces with two other talented artists to create a delightful ‘interiors’ haven, full of gorgeous gifts and unique decorative items. There, visitors could admire Arantxa Hergueta’s wonderful aged mirrors and Iciar Zubiría’s delicate paintings, and browse through Dolores’ delightful ceramic creations. A big success for a good cause, all in the lead up to Christmas!

Touch me! Art to awaken the senses

Dolores' first solo exhibition, which was inaugurated by Alderman for Culture for Bussum, Nen van Ramshorst, brought together a range of sculptural hand basins inspired by sights and elemental forms encountered during her wide ranging travels around the world. Also on show were Dolores' beautiful and varied ceramic paintings, with textures that begged to be touched and subtly balanced colours that evoked a range of moods.
